City Manager Presents Preliminary 2022 Budget

The City Manager presented his 2022 preliminary budget recommendation to the City Council on August 23. Being mindful of the financial difficulties and economic recovery needed with the on-going COVID-19 pandemic, the $58.1 million budget maintains city programs and services, while continuing to provide funds for critical community assets and investing in better community outcomes.

Golf Tournament

Grab your clubs and support public safety in Roseville. The Roseville Police Foundation is sponsoring a golf tournament to raise funds to support programs and activities that promote public safety and enhance community relations. The tournament is Monday, September 27 at the Midland Hills Country Club. The day will include games, challenges, and door prizes. Register at www.rosevillepolicefoundation.org. The Roseville Police Foundation supports the Roseville Police Department by funding innovative and supplemental training, equipment and technology.

Volunteer Commissions

Serve as an Advisor - Youth & Adult

The City is looking for high school students who live in Roseville, including home-schooled students. We are interested in having teen perspective help shape Roseville's future. Youth will make connections and gain experience to help build their resume.

The City is also seeking residents interested in making an impact in their community and helping serve as advisors to the City Council. There are vacancies now on several commissions. Deadline to apply is September 7T

Bargain Hunters, make Roseville your destination on September 9-11. You will find 50 homes participating in Roseville's citywide garage sale, and you will find bargains at each one of them. Roseville Parks and Recreation Department and Roseville's Volunteer Program received the 2020 Award of Excellence for Volunteer Initiatives from the Minnesota Recreation and Park Association (MRPA). Annually, MRPA recognizes notable parks and recreation projects and programs throughout the state.

Meet Ruben Dominguez and Gogee Yang! Ruben is an intern for the city, specializing on BIPOC business outreach. He is a junior at Hamline University, President of the Student Congress, and serves on their Diversity Summit Planning Committee. Prior to joining Roseville, he worked with The Arc, helping to connect families to key services. Gogee comes to the city through our relationship with Golden Shovel Agency. She is a seasoned marketing professional serving as a Social Media Coach. She is providing free support to help Roseville's small business community get online, market their products and services, and post their job openings.
