City Hall Reopening

City Hall to Reopen to the Public

After being closed to the public for more than a year to help slow the spread of COVID-19, Roseville City Hall will welcome staff and residents to the facility on June 21. It was a long time coming, but with vaccination rates rising and related COVID-19 metrics falling to their lowest levels since the early days of the pandemic, city officials agreed the time was right to reopen City Hall. Much of city staff spent the past 15 months serving residents from remote locations. Read more

Sustainability Efforts Recognized

Roseville has advanced to become a Step 5 City in the Minnesota GreenStep program. Roseville is one of 143 cities and tribal nations participating in the 11-year-old challenge, assistance, and recognition program. Roseville has worked hard to implement best practice actions to meet their own sustainability goals with support from the GreenStep program and their peers. Actions taken within the program focus on cost savings, energy use reduction, resource conservation and civic innovation. Read more

Pathway Plan

Pathway Master Plan Update

The City of Roseville is considering minor amendments to the Pathway Master Plan, the planning document that helps guide the development and installation of sidewalks, trails and other pathway facilities across the city. The Pathway Master Plan was last updated in 2018 as part of Comprehensive Plan Update. Since then, staff has identified pathway segments that should be considered as additions to the plan based on recent development and/or feedback from residents. Read more

Kids’ Garage Sale

Kids, here’s your chance to make a little cash, pass on old toys and find new treasures! Roseville Parks and Recreation invites young entrepreneurs, ages 8 to 15, to host their own garage sale table during Rosefest. Join us on Thursday, June 24 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Central Park Dale West, 2525 Dale St. The sale will run at the same time as the Rosefest Touch-a-Truck event, a great event that draws lots of families. Roseville Police, Fire, and Public Works vehicles will be on display. Read more

Natural Resources Renewal

Help Maintain Roseville Parks

Make an impact on Roseville parks and natural resources. Roseville is looking for volunteers to join our Natural Resources Renewal efforts to improve city parks. On Saturday, June 19, we‘re looking for help at Villa Park from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. We will meet at the Villa Park building and then head to the meadow area. Please dress for the weather. Sturdy boots or shoes are recommended as work may be done off trail.

Plant! Harvest! Taste!

Kids, grab an adult and join us for free gardening classes at the community orchard located at the Central Park Muriel Sahlin Arboretum. Learn what to plant and how to care for a garden, then enjoy the fruits of your labor. This series of family gardening classes will include garden care, weeding, harvesting, art and food, with a different theme each session. The free class will be led by retired naturalist and volunteer Anna Newton. Additional volunteers will be helping as well. Read more

Sport Camps

Learn from the best. Sign up for the Roseville Sports Camps. Roseville Area High School (RAHS) coaches, players and staff will teach sport skills this summer to area youth. Participants learn new skills on the court and on the field. Available camps include the sports of basketball, football and volleyball. Sponsored by Roseville Parks and Recreation. Puppet Wagon Performances

Kids, visit your local park and catch a free puppet wagon show. Puppet shows provide laughs and a chance for kids to make new friends. New shows full of fun and surprises are offered each week. The Roseville Puppet Wagon presents 15 to 20 minute shows on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at local parks beginning June 22 through August 19. The puppet wagon will also perform shows at Discover Your Parks events.
