Combatting Anti-Asian Hate

The Roseville Human Rights, Inclusion and Engagement Commission (HRIEC) and the NineNorth Compass Program invite residents to listen to a panel discussion about Anti-Asian Hate. Join us on Thursday, May 13 from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at ninenorth.org or at facebook.com/ ninenorthmedia for the live streamed discussion. It will also be available on CTV Nine North – Channel 14. Inclusive Playground Coming Soon

Construction is under way on an inclusive play expansion at Central Park at the east side of Bennett Lake in Roseville. This upgrade will create a one of a kind play experience for children of all ability levels. The City of Roseville is committed to ensuring that parks are available for all. Thanks to a generous donation facilitated by the Friends of Roseville Parks Foundation (FOR Parks), this project will add inclusive play elements to the playground. Read more

Flower Power!

Join the Flower Power Team!

Join Roseville’s Flower Power team. Roseville is looking for volunteers to help plant flowers at Roseville’s Central Park. On May 22, we’re planting flowers along Lexington Ave. The boulevard will be divided into separate plots, and volunteers will be assigned to plots that are spaced apart to ensure adequate social distancing. Volunteers will work shifts from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. or 10:30 to noon. The city will provide plants and a limited supply of tools. Read more

Join the Roseville Business Council webinar on Wednesday, May 26 from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. for a wrap-up of the 2021 legislative session. The Business Council invites local businesses and residents to hear from State Senators and Representatives as they provide a recap of the legislative session and discuss how new laws could affect the business community. Representative Jamie Becker-Finn, Representative Alice Hausman, Senator Jason Isaacson and Senator John Marty have been invited to attend. Read more
