Rosefest 2021

City Announces Modified Rosefest

As a result of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the City of Roseville will be offering a modified Rosefest for 2021 from June 23-27. This year’s event will feature a Medallion Hunt, 5K Run for the Roses, Golf Tournament, Concerts at the Rog, Superhero Carnival, Theater in the Park and more. Due to the overall concern for community safety and the inability to manage distancing and masking, the Rose Parade and the July 4th Party in the Park, including the annual fireworks, will be postponed until the summer of 2022. Read more

Small businesses are the backbone of the community. More than half of Americans either work for or own a small business. Small businesses play a crucial role in the economy, creating nearly two out of every three new jobs in the U.S. each year. This past year, small businesses have faced some of the most challenging times ever. May 2-8, 2021 is National Small Business Week, a time to recognize, support and thank small businesses in the community. Read more

Shredding Day

Free Document Shredding

Roseville residents, protect yourself from identity theft with a free solution from the City of Roseville. Roseville is working with Shred-N-Go to offer free document shredding for residents on Saturday, May 15. Sorry no business documents accepted. To help protect against COVID-19, residents are asked to place documents in the trunk of their vehicle or in the bed of their truck. Crews will unload the paper into a secured cart. Documents will be shredded on site and recycled. Read more


May is Building Safety Month

This May, the City of Roseville is recognizing Building Safety Month by participating in the International Code Council’s annual campaign to raise awareness about building safety. This year’s campaign is “Prevent, Prepare, Protect.” Homes and buildings that are built in compliance with building safety codes, and the officials who enforce the codes like those in Roseville’s Code Compliance office, are essential to helping communities minimize the risks of injury, property damage or death. Read more

Skate Park Opening May 7

Skateboarders, bikers and inline skaters, Roseville’s Skate Park is opening on Friday, May 7. Challenge yourself at our exciting skate park. Entry to the skate park is free. The Skating Center is open daily but hours may vary; visit www.cityofroseville.com/skateschedule or call 651-792-7191 for times and special event information. The city will comply with the latest CDC and Minnesota Department of Health capacity limits, so entrance may be limited. Read more

Garlic Mustard Pulling

Garlic Mustard Removal

Roseville's Reservoir Woods is a special place in the community. It’s an ideal place to watch birds and other wildlife and is home to a diverse array of wildflowers and native plants. Unfortunately garlic mustard is threatening the plant diversity in Reservoir Woods. We’re looking for volunteers to help pull garlic mustard on the following Tuesdays or Saturdays - May 4, 8, 11, 15, and 18 at 2:00 p.m. A trained volunteer will teach participants how to recognize the plant and how to remove it.
