County Road B work

County Road B Roadwork

Work is expected to start April 26 in Roseville as Xcel Energy begins replacing a gas line under County Road B between Lexington Ave. and Rice St. Work will begin at the Lexington Ave. intersection for the first week. The project then moves to Rice St. and continues working towards the west to Lexington Ave. Work is expected to continue into October and will impact traffic along County Road B. The City of Roseville will also be making sewer repairs on County Road B during this time. Read more

Roseville B3 City Award Winner

Roseville’s commitment to energy efficiency is paying off. Not only is the city seeing significant reduction in energy usage, which means financial savings, the city is also being recognized for its efforts. On April 14, the City of Roseville was honored by the State of Minnesota’s Best of Buildings, Benchmarks, and Beyond (B3) Benchmarking for a Local Government. Roseville was recognized for decreasing energy usage by 26 percent from its 2018 baseline. Read more

Pandemic Impact on Business

As we look to the future of connectivity, it is more important than ever for businesses to prepare for a new world. The City of Roseville invites businesses to a free broadband network webinar on Wednesday, April 28 from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. Jonathan Wendroff and Chris Hanna from Comcast Business will lead a discussion. Read more

Building on the momentum of its first Dementia: Caring & Coping During the Pandemic series, the Roseville Alzheimer’s and Dementia Community Action Team (RSVL A/D) has announced a second series of the popular webcast. RSVL A/D is once again partnering with Alzheimer’s Speaks to make the webcast available at alzheimersspeaks.com. Unwanted Solicitations

Around this time of year, City of Roseville staff get complaints from homeowners who have door-to-door salespeople pressuring them to buy products or services. In the springtime, complaints usually are about salespeople trying to sell lawn services, tree trimming or other landscaping and home improvement projects. Some solicitors target senior citizens and try to scare them into making immediate decisions about their product or service. Read more
