2022 Budget Schedule

Roseville Charts 2022 Budget Path

The City of Roseville this week released its 2022 budget calendar. Over the next several months, the Roseville City Council will hold meetings to listen to the community, identify priorities, and review strategies as they work toward setting the 2022 budget. In addition to City Council meetings, the Finance Commission, which meets the second Tuesday of the month, will discuss the budget at several of its meetings. The City Council encourages the public to participate in budget meetings. Read more

Fire Department Seeks Applicants

Do you have what it takes to be a Roseville firefighter? The City of Roseville is seeking applications for fulltime firefighters. Eligibility requirement include Firefighter I and II certifications, emergency medical technician and hazardous materials. Preferred training includes a paramedic license. Roseville firefighters respond to more than 5,000 medical, rescue and fire calls per year and work 24-hour rotating shifts. Deadline to apply is April 22, with interviews the following week. Read more

Hydrant Flushing

Hydrant Flushing

The Roseville Public Works Department is hard at work. Each year, the city flushes all 1,750 fire hydrants to make sure they work properly and to flush out mineral deposits from the distribution system. Hydrants are flushed each spring after the city sweeps the streets of sand and debris that has accumulated over the winter months. On rare occasions, the water may be discolored when you turn on the tap following hydrant flushing in your neighborhood. If this occurs, let the cold water run until clear. Read more


Earth Day at HANC

Celebrate Earth Day. Join us at Harriet Alexander Nature Center (HANC) on Saturday, April 24 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. for a fun-filled day that celebrates the planet and HANC’s thirty-first birthday. This year’s all-outdoor event includes music by Will Hale and the Tadpole Parade, guided hikes along the boardwalk, socially distanced activity stations and a take-home DIY craft and birthday treat. Harriet Alexander Nature Center is located at 2520 N. Dale Street in Roseville. Read more
