Zoning Code Meetings Continue

The City of Roseville invites residents to share their thoughts on the 2021 Zoning Code update. The second round of community meetings regarding the update begins this week with two presentations on Thursday, April 8. Roseville’s Zoning Code update will bring zoning regulations into alignment with the city’s 2040 Comprehensive Plan adopted in April 2020. The Zoning Code contains land use and building rules that apply to properties in the city. Read more

Mapping Prejudice

Ramsey County invites residents to a virtual meeting on Thursday, April 8, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. to learn about the mapping of racial covenants in Ramsey County. Racial covenants are clauses that were embedded into property deeds to bar people who were not white from buying or occupying the parcels of land to which they were attached. Although racial covenants were made illegal by the 1968 Fair Housing Act, their legacy continues today in the Twin Cities. Read more

Clean Up Day

Clean Up Day in Roseville

Dishwasher that doesn’t work, leftover lumber from a home repair project, or junk that has been accumulating for too long? The City of Roseville will help you lighten the load. Roseville residents can bring unwanted items to the Dale Street Soccer Fields parking lot, 2555 Dale St., for Roseville's Clean Up Day on Saturday, April 24. Crews will be there from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. This year only, residents can dispose of mattresses and box springs for free. Read more


Help Maintain Roseville Parks

Make an impact on Roseville parks and natural resources. Roseville is looking for volunteers to join our Natural Resources Renewal efforts to improve city parks. On Saturday, April 17, we‘re looking for volunteers to help clean up the raingarden at Lexington Park. Each month, Roseville hosts a volunteer opportunity at one of the local parks as part of the natural resources renewal project. Groups, individuals, and families are encouraged to participate. Read more

Kite Day

Kite Day in the Park

Bring your family and friends and rediscover the forgotten pleasure of kite flying. Roseville Parks and Recreation invites you to a kite flying extravaganza on Saturday, April 24 from 10:00 to noon. We’ll meet at Central Park - Victoria Ballfields, 2940 Victoria Ave.  Bring your own kite, or kids can receive a free kite from the Kiwanis Club of Roseville and Do Good Roseville, while supplies last. The event is free, but registration is required to ensure safe social distancing and ordering kite supplies. Read more 

Free Car Seat Clinic

The City of Roseville is committed to keeping your children safe. One simple task is to make sure that your child’s car seat is installed correctly. Approximately 90% of car seats are not. This could lead to serious injury or death if your child is in an accident. The Roseville Fire Department is collaborating with Health Partners to offer a free car seat clinic on Saturday, April 17. Certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians will help residents install their kids or grandkids’ car seats. Read more

HHW Disposal

Free HHW Disposal

Many household products used to maintain a home, yard or vehicle or to control pests are hazardous. Getting rid of any of those unwanted products can be a challenge. Ramsey County offers a solution. Residents can drop off unwanted HHW materials at a free Ramsey County household hazardous waste (HHW) collection site for safe disposal. Check the label. If a label says CAUTION, WARNING, DANGER or POISON, it doesn’t belong in the trash unless the container is empty. Read more

Severe Weather Awareness Week

April 12-16 is Severe Weather Awareness Week in Minnesota. Roseville Fire and Police ask residents, schools and businesses to review emergency plans for taking shelter in case of severe weather. The Minnesota Department of Public Safety promotes a better understanding of the types of severe weather that can occur in Minnesota and what you can do to protect yourself, your family and your business.
