City Statement Re: Atlanta Violence

No person should have to live in fear because of who they are. The City of Roseville condemns the senseless acts of violence that recently took place in Georgia. Several Asian-American women lost their lives in violent attacks against them. Although the motivation has not yet been determined, we acknowledge that the fear is real in the Asian-American community. We understand that the weight of confronting racial inequality is borne by our communities of color. Read more

Zoning Code Project

Zoning Code Update Project Begins

The City of Roseville invites residents to share their thoughts on the 2021 Zoning Code update. The update will bring zoning regulations into alignment with the city’s 2040 Comprehensive Plan, which was adopted in April 2020. The Zoning Code contains land use and building rules that apply to properties in the city. State law requires that a city review and update zoning regulations to align with the updated comprehensive plan’s goals, policies, and maps. Read more

Help Maintain Roseville Parks

Make an impact on Roseville parks and natural resources. Roseville is looking for volunteers to join our Natural Resources Renewal efforts to improve city parks. On Saturday, March 20, we‘re looking for help at Villa Park and Reservoir Woods Park. Join us as we seed native grasses, flowers, and sedges. We will meet at the Villa Park building first and then head to the seeding locations. Please dress for the weather. Sturdy boots or shoes are recommended. Read more

Roseville Public Works Director Marcus Culver, Ramsey County Public Works Director Ted Schoenecker, and MNDOT North Area Manager Melissa Barnes will provide a city, county and state preview of plans for 2021. Egg Dyeing Fun

Learn how to make spectacular dyed eggs using environmentally friendly natural egg dyes. Roseville Parks and Recreation invites you to its Egg Dyeing: Natural Dyes class on Thursday, April 1 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., at Harriet Alexander Nature Center, 2520 Dale St. You’ll learn easy ways to create patterns on your eggs, play some egg games and take part in the “Who Lays Eggs?” scavenger hunt. Help yourself, help your wallet and help the earth at the same time. Purchase a rain barrel and/or a compost bin from the Recycling Association of Minnesota (RAM). Compost bins cost $66 plus tax and rain barrels cost $79 plus tax. Ramsey County residents receive $20 off compost bins. Use the promo code “ramsey” to get the discount.
