Roseville’s State of the City

Mayor Dan Roe presented Roseville’s State of the City address on February 24. Mayor Roe highlighted the accomplishments as well as challenges Roseville faced in 2020 and looked forward to what to expect in 2021.

Coyote Sighted in Roseville

The City of Roseville has received reports of coyote sightings. Coyotes are not a threat to humans. According to the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (DNR), there has never been a documented case of a human attacked by a coyote in Minnesota. However, coyotes are wild animals and should be treated as such. Coyotes hunt rabbits, rodents, birds, frogs, snakes and squirrels. If food is difficult to find, they feed on berries, fruit, grass and dead animals. Read more

Summer Jobs Available

Who wants a job where work is play? Roseville Parks and Recreation is hiring for a variety of summer jobs. Qualifications include being a responsible, creative, enthusiastic, reliable and punctual employee who loves working with kids of all ages. The city has several positions open, including seasonal sport coaches, seasonal recreation staff and leads to work with youth at camps, special events and preschool programs. Get your golf clubs ready. As soon as the weather turns, Cedarholm Golf Course will be open for business. The nine-hole, par-three course offers an exciting and affordable golf challenge. Cedarholm features open golfing, tournaments and youth, lady, senior and evening leagues. The Cedarholm Community Building has a pro shop, concessions, and meeting rooms that can be rented for special events. Youth, ladies, co-rec and senior league registration is occurring now.
