Budget Hearing

Final Budget and Tax Levy Hearing

The Roseville City Council will hold its final hearing on the 2021 budget and tax levy on Monday, November 30 at 6:00 p.m. The meeting represents the final chance for residents to weigh in on next year’s proposed budget. The final 2021 budget vote is set for Monday, December 7, the last council meeting of the year. Local Advocacy Group Recognized

The Dementia-Friendly Airports Working Group (DFAWG), an offshoot of the Roseville Alzheimer’s and Dementia Community Action Team (RSVL A/D), has had its best practices for screening individuals living with dementia incorporated by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). These best practices, developed by DFAWG in collaboration with TSA, were included in two National Shift Briefs in October and have now been distributed to TSA agents at all U.S. airports. Read more

Help Maintain Parks

Help Maintain Roseville Parks

Make an impact on Roseville parks and natural resources. Roseville is looking for volunteers to join our Natural Resources Renewal efforts to improve city parks. On Saturday, November 21, we‘re looking for volunteers to help restore the north side of Bennett Lake. Volunteers will help remove fallen limbs and damaged trees. Each month, Roseville hosts a volunteer opportunity at a local park as part of the natural resources renewal project.

County Offering COVID Assistance

Ramsey County continues to offer a variety of supports for anyone needing food or basic necessities. Support programs include food shelves and meal programs, free home meal delivery, free meals for youths, and financial assistance programs. Additionally, Ramsey County offers assistance to pay rent, mortgage, damage deposits, utilities or car repairs. They also offer programs and training for laid-off workers and job seekers. Read more

Brew Tour

Join the Virtual Brew Tour

Do you wonder how brewers make craft beer? Roseville Parks and Recreation invites adults, 21 years and older, to learn how it’s done. Join us on Thursday, December 10 for a behind the scenes look at Bent Brewstillery and take part in sampling some brews in the comfort of your own home. Bent Brewstillery professionals will give a Zoom-based virtual tour and describe its brew making process. That will be followed by a guided tasting of three of Bent Brewstillery’s most popular craft beers. Read more

Ice at the OVAL

We might have the ice! In the most unusual year, the Roseville Parks and Recreation Department is tentatively planning to open the Guidant John Rose Minnesota OVAL on Friday, November 20. Because of the recent increase in COVID cases, the city is continuing to monitor and follow guidance from the Minnesota Department of Health in regards to a safe opening.
