Tree Planting Grant

Grants Make Tree Planting Possible

On Saturday, September 12, the City of Roseville and a host of volunteers will be planting more than 100 trees during a community tree-planting event in various city parks from 9:00 a.m. to noon. The event is being made possible thanks to an Emerald Ash Borer Community Forest Response Tree Planting Grant from the Environment and Natural Resources Trust Fund (ENRTF) and the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (MNDNR). HANC Welcomes Back Visitors

Get back to nature! Roseville’s Harriet Alexander Nature Center (HANC) is excited to welcome visitors. Beginning September 12, HANC’s building will be open to the public from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturdays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. The nature center building will be open for a limited number of visitors at a time. Guests waiting to enter the nature center building can explore trails and a boardwalk the circulate throughout more than 50 acres of marsh, prairie and grasslands. Read more

Night to Unite Cancelled

Roseville’s Night to Unite Cancelled

The City of Roseville has decided that it will not participate in Night to Unite events rescheduled for early October. Night to Unite 2020 was originally scheduled for August 4. Night to Unite is a great way for neighbors to get to know each other and share safety tips; however, with the ongoing pandemic, the city felt it was safer if police officers or firefighters do not attend this year’s gatherings. Roseville Police and Fire look forward to celebrating Night to Unite in 2021. Read more


Register to Vote

The City of Roseville encourages anyone who has not registered to vote to do so by October 13 to speed up voting during the November 3 election. Voting is much quicker if you pre-register rather than registering at the polling place. Registering is easy. Complete a voter registration application online at mnvotes.org or call 651-266-2171. Online registration options are available in English, Amharic, Chinese, Hmong, Khmer, Lao, Oromo, Russian, Somali, Spanish and Vietnamese. Read more

The City of Roseville and Ramsey County are partnering with Clean Air Minnesota Environmental Initiative to offer information about ways individuals can help reduce air pollution. Backyard fires can be great fun, but before you light the fire, review the the guidelines to protect your health and the health of others.
