Curfew Allowed to Expire

Roseville Allows Curfew to Expire

The City of Roseville’s emergency management team has decided not to extend the 10:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. city-wide curfew put in place for Monday and Tuesday nights. The city thanks residents for taking the curfew seriously and helping emergency responders keep our community safe. The need for any future curfews during the period of local emergence declared by the City Council that expires on Monday, June 8 will be considered by the city on a day-by-day basis. Read more

Roseville Candidates Announced

Five candidates have filed for the two City Council seats up for election in 2020. Filing closed at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 2. The city will hold a primary election on Tuesday, August 11 to narrow the field to four candidates for the two city council seats. In addition, several federal, judicial and state offices will be on the ballot. Under state law, candidates have until Thursday, June 4 at 5:00 to withdraw their candidacy. Read more

Lock Doors When Doing Yardwork

How long does it take to mow a lawn? Long enough for a thief to slip into your garage or home through an unlocked door. Thieves know that homeowners often leave doors unlocked or garage doors open and take advantage of the time you’re distracted while working or relaxing in the yard. They can listen for the mower and when it’s turned off, they know it’s time to make a run for it. Roseville Police received a call from a resident who had been doing some yardwork. Read more
