May City Meetings

City to Continue Virtual Meetings

In an effort to help mitigate the spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus), and protect the public, City Council members, Commissioners and staff, the City of Roseville will conduct City Council and Commission meetings virtually into May. To date, these upcoming virtual meetings included City Council meetings on May 4, 11 and 18; the Parks and Recreation Commission meeting on May 5; and the Variance Board and Planning Commission on May 6. Read more

Building Safety Month

This May, the City of Roseville is recognizing Building Safety Month by participating in the International Code Council’s 40th annual event. This year’s campaign, “Safer Buildings, Safer Communities, Safer World,” highlights the importance of building codes for providing a strong and resilient built environment. Homes and buildings that are built in compliance with building safety codes are essential to helping communities minimize the risks of death, injury and property damage. Read more

Shredding Day Postponed

Shredding Day Postponed

Due to COVID-19 (Coronavirus), Roseville’s Shredding Day, a day where residents can bring personal paperwork to be safely shredded, has been postponed until Saturday, September 12. If you can’t wait to shred paperwork, contact RamseyRecycles.com or call 651-633-EASY (3279) for information about other options. Mask Donations top 2,400

Thanks to the generosity of hundreds of people, the Roseville Fire Department collected more than 2,400 masks for distribution throughout the community. Roseville firefighters said most donors dropped off “many” masks - a dozen or more; although, a few people dropped off hundreds of masks. The Roseville Fire Department took part in a statewide effort on Saturday, April 25, to collect homemade masks for distribution.

Ditch 4 Meeting

Ditch 4 Public Information Meeting

The Rice Creek Watershed District (RCWD) Board of Managers will receive public comment on proceedings to correct the drainage system record and to establish the functional alignment, dimension and grade of Ramsey County Ditch 4 on Monday, May 11 at 6:00 p.m. The current efficiency and potential repairs to this drainage system will not be discussed at the hearing. The engineer's historical review memorandum is available at www.ricecreek.org or at the District office. Read more
