Spring Forward

Daylight savings time is coming Sunday. Are you ready to spring forward? Clock in Minnesota will move ahead one hour Sunday morning at 2:00 a.m. Central Time as the U.S. moves to Daylight Saving Time (DST) until Sunday, November 1.


Rosedale Expansion

Rosedale Environmental Assessment

An environmental assessment of a proposed expansion of Rosedale Center has been completed and is available for public comment through April 9, 2020. Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL), owner and operator of Rosedale Center located at 1595 Minnesota Highway 36, is proposing to expand by adding 350 market rate residential units, 215 active adult housing units, two hotels with up to 340 hotel rooms, 90,000 square feet of office space, and 200,000 square feet of retail space.. Read more

Hands-only CPR Class

Roseville firefighters are offering free, hands-only cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) classes on the third Wednesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. The next class is scheduled for Wednesday, March 18. The hour-long class meets at the Roseville Fire Station, 2701 Lexington Ave. Firefighters will teach an easy-to-learn hands-only CPR process. Cardiac arrest occurs when the heart stops and can no longer pump blood to the brain or vital organs.

Natural Resources

Help Maintain Roseville Parks

Make an impact on Roseville parks and natural resources. Roseville is looking for volunteers to join our Natural Resources Renewal efforts to improve city parks. On Saturday, March 21, we‘re looking for helpers to sow native grass, sedges and wildflower seeds at Cottonwood Park. Each month, Roseville hosts a volunteer opportunity at one of the local parks as part of the natural resources renewal project. Join us at Cedarholm Community Building, 2323 Hamline Ave., on Thursday, March 19 at 7:00 p.m. It’s your chance to showcase your talent at this family-friendly gathering. This is an opportunity for talented local musicians, comedians, singers, poets, storytellers and others to take to the stage. Compost Bin and Rain Barrel Sale

Compost Bin and Rain Barrel Sale

Help yourself, help your wallet and help the earth at the same time. Purchase a rain barrel and/or a compost bin from the Recycling Association of Minnesota. Compost bins cost $66 plus tax and rain barrels cost $79 plus tax. Ramsey County residents receive a 30 percent discount. When ordering, enter the discount code “Ramsey” to get the discount. When picking up the bin or barrel, customers may be asked to show proof of residency.

Volunteer Gardening Team

Roseville is looking for some green thumbs. Even if your thumb isn’t so green, you can help. Roseville relies on volunteers to help keep city parks in tiptop shape. Each year, individuals, businesses and community groups help through the Adopt-a-Park, Arboretum Green Team, Natural Resources, Community Orchard and Blooming Boulevards programs. Volunteers plant, weed and water in the parks, along boulevards and at the Arboretum, making a visual difference in the community. Read more
