Pietrick Named Finance Director

Roseville City Manager Patrick Trudgeon has introduced veteran public finance professional Michelle Pietrick as the city’s new Finance Director. Pietrick comes to Roseville from the City of South St. Paul. She brings a wealth of municipal finance experience to her new post with Roseville, including stops as Finance Director with St. Croix County, Senior Budget Analyst at the Minneapolis Community Development Agency, and Auditor with the Office of the State Auditor. Read more

Ramsey County Open House

Ramsey County and the City of Roseville are working together to improve traffic safety conditions near Roseville Area High School. Residents are invited to learn more at a community open house on Wednesday, Feb. 26.
The open house will be held at Roseville Area High School, 1240 County Road B2 from 5:00 to 7:30 p.m. Participants will hear about the county’s proposed improvements for the intersection at Lexington Ave. and County Road B2 and have an opportunity to ask questions or provide feedback. Read more

Early Voting

Early Voting at Roseville Library

The presidential primary election will take place on Tuesday, March 3. Ramsey Count residents can vote early at the Ramsey County Library in Roseville, 2180 Hamline Ave., and other early voting stations located throughout Ramsey County. A person may register to vote, complete the early ballot application, and vote all at the same time. Voters can also vote through the mail.

City adds Hybrid Vehicle to Fleet

Roseville Public Works continues to up its commitment to sustainability. The department recently acquired its first hybrid vehicle. The 2019 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV (plug-in hybrid electric vehicle) is being used by the Utility Superintendent. The vehicle can be recharged by plugging it into an external source of electric power, as well as by its on-board engine and generator. It primarily performs as a pure electric vehicle unless the battery gets low or extra power is needed. Read more

Pet Licenses

Pet Licenses

Vaccinate and register your pets. Pets in the City of Roseville must be licensed and have registration and vaccination tags secured to their collars. This makes it easier to return a lost pet to its rightful owner rather than having it placed in an animal shelter. Unfortunately, many stray pets in Roseville are not licensed or do not have tags. Police officers have no way of knowing how to return a pet to its rightful owner.

Does your home need exterior painting or maintenance? You may be eligible for free assistance. In October 2018, Metro Paint-A-Thon transitioned from the Greater Minneapolis Council of Churches to Hearts & Hammers. Hearts & Hammers’ mission is to provide exterior home improvement help for senior citizens, disabled adults and veterans. Each year, from June 1 to September 21, thousands of volunteers provide exterior painting and maintenance for homeowners.
