[ARCHIVED] Hockey Day in Minnesota is coming to Roseville

Hockey Day_2021

FOX Sports North (FSN) and the Minnesota Wild have announced plans to hold a modified Hockey Day Minnesota at the John Rose MN OVAL on Saturday, February 27 starting at 1:00 p.m.

The OVAL will serve as the broadcast centerpiece for more than 10 hours of continuous hockey programming on the network that day. FSN will broadcast a variety of Hockey Day content, televise two Hockey Day Minnesota “Classic” (outdoor) games as well as the Minnesota Wild vs. L.A. Kings matchup from Xcel Energy Center during primetime.

In addition to serving as the home base of the Hockey Day coverage, the OVAL will also host the inaugural Hockey Without Limits Camp presented by Wild player Matt Dumba. The camp was created by Dumba to help provide more children with the opportunity to play the sport of hockey.

Unlike past Wild events held at the OVAL, this is not expected to be a fan experience for the public like facility has hosted in the past.

Additional details will be announced as they become available.
