The City of Roseville has started delivering new recycling carts to residents this week.
Your new cart will be delivered a day or two before your usual recycling service. If you're normally collected on a Monday, expect your new cart the Sunday before. Please leave your old cart at the curb after it has been emptied, and ContainerPros will take care of the removal. Residents should receive the same size (35, 64, or 96 gallon) and number of carts that they currently have at their property.
***Staff is aware that some residents have received the wrong size cart due to incorrect information in the cart database. If you received the wrong size of cart, please contact the Roseville Public Works Department at (651) 792-7004 or publicworks@cityofroseville.com. Leave the cart at the curb, and the City will swap it with the correct cart in the next day or two.
Your collection day remains the same, and recycling will continue every other week.
Important dates
- May 31 to June 13: New carts roll out
- July 1: Size changes or additional carts can be requested
New recycling hauler
The City of Roseville switched its recycling hauler to Waste Management after a competitive bidding process.
Waste Management was the low bidder and provided the best value for the city and its residents. The new black carts with blue lids are owned by the City of Roseville. Billing for recycling services is paid as part of the city utility bill. That will not change.
There should be minimal disruption in service.
