Family-friendly Storytelling @ HANC

Spring 2022 Series: April 14 and May 12, 6:00-7:15pm

Join us each month for nature-themed eco-friendly stories told by storyteller Pam Schweitzer. Pam will weave stories and science together in an entertaining way to learn about the nature world around us. Stories are geared to school aged children, but all are welcome to come.

Family Egg Dyeing with Natural Dyes

Thursday, April 14, 2022   6-8pm, $8.50/egg-dyer

Try several easy and fun egg dyeing techniques, including using recycled silk neckties, rubber bands, and even cracked eggs. You will create beautifully dyed eggs, play some egg games and try the "Who Lays Eggs? scavenger hunt. Each person should:

  • Bring 4 hard-boiled and 2 UNCOOKED eggs
  • Bring an egg carton for drying and transporting eggs
  • Bring an old, 100% silk necktie or scarf if you have one
  • and do wear old clothing - these dyes are permanent! 

Age 6+ years (adult supervision required).
