Wild Rice Festival

CANCELLED for 2020

With the COVID-19 pandemic is still very much a part of our lives and certainly to remain so by the time we would have presented this year's Festival, the decision was made to to cancel this year. Below is what we usually offer at the Festival. Hope to see you next year on September 18, 2021!

What Is It?

A celebration of wild rice, the Minnesota fall season and Native American culture!

Highlights include:
  • Children's games and activities
  • Hands-on apple cider pressing
  • Native American dance, drums and story-telling
  • Traditional wild rice harvesting demonstrations
  • Wild rice sausage, wild rice soup, fry bread and other tasty treats
  • And much more!
As usual, there is no admission charge. For more about the festival, check out WildRiceFestival.org.
