End the Week With the Ultimate in Fun!
Join us on Fridays as we adventure to exciting locations.
  • Trips open to 6 year-olds and older.
  • Pre-registration required. Register at least one week before trip start date or until trip fills.
  • Extended Care available from 7:45am and until 5:30pm for an additional $8. Please select the option during registration.
  • Drop-off and pick-up at Autumn Grove Park Building at Lydia and Hamline
  • Please arrive at the time listed to allow for check-in and trip prep so everyone is ready to go when the bus arrives.
  • Return times are approximate, due to traffic and other issues outside our control, please be prompt to stated return time when picking up your child.
Water Park of America

Surf on Minnesota’s only Cascade Falls FlowRider, catch a wave in the Lake Superior wave pool or challenge your fears in America’s longest indoor family raft ride at ten stories tall & over a mile long. This indoor water park is also equipped with the Fort Snelling activity island which has a zero depth entry, body & tube slides, activity pool with hoops, nets, and balancing logs, & much more. Bring a swimsuit, towel, bag lunch.

Mall of America: MN Sea Life Aquarium & Nickelodeon Universe

Imagine traveling through 300 feet of ocean tunnel where sharks, stingrays & giant sea turtles swim so close, you’ll feel like you can reach out & touch them! Join us as we explore Minnesota Sea Life Aquarium at the Mall of America. Not only will we be able to walk around the biggest mall in the USA, we will also have some fun at Nickelodeon Universe. Hop on the Fairly Odd Coaster or take a ride on SpongeBob Squarepants Rock Bottom Plunge. Whichever rides you choose you will have a blast! Please bring a bag lunch.

Valleyfair Amusement Park

From flips and dips to a 200-foot drop, there’s excitement galore on Valleyfair’s seven thrilling roller coasters, including Steel Venom, an impulse coaster with a twist! Don’t miss Power Tower - 275 feet of extreme scream! For those looking for relaxed thrills, the park offers a myriad of magical delights. There’s something for everyone at Valleyfair! All rides inside the park are included in admission, including the water rides. We will not be visiting Challenge Go Cart Park. Bring swimsuit, towel, sunscreen & money for concessions.

Grand Slam & Flaherty's Bowling

Come join us for a day filled with FUN at Flaherty’s & Grand Slam! Challenge your friends to see who gets the most strikes in bowling, play lazer tag, mini golf, krazy kars, arcade games (4 tokens), jump in the inflatable play zone & take some swings in the batting cages! Lunch will consist of a hot dog, soda, & a bag of chips.

Wild Mountain

Join us for a fun day as we go to Wild Mountain in Taylor's Falls, MN. If you are ready to get wet they have several large waterslides, a lazy river & other fun attractions. If you want to stay dry you can enjoy Go-Karts or take the chairlift to the top of the mountain & wind down the 1700' long Alpine Slide track back down to the bottom. Please bring a swimsuit, towel, sunscreen & a bag lunch/money for concessions.

Cascade Bay

Ahoy mates, Captain C. Breeze has set sail and docked his ship at Cascade Bay. Let the adventure begin while we brave the Typhoon & Hurricane water slides, fl oat around the lazy river as we rumble through its rocky rapids or try tumbling down Twin Falls. So “water” you waiting for? Come on out & play at the Bay! Lunch will include a slice of pizza & a beverage. Please bring a swimsuit, towel & sunscreen.

Elm Creek Playground & Swimming

Are you ready for some serious fun? We will start the day at Elm Creek Playground which has seven play areas including several climbing rocks, cargo net structures & a circular zip line called the "roller ride". After a quick break for a picnic lunch we will head over to the man-made swimming pond which offers a perfect mix of a pool (filtered, chlorinated water) and lake (sandy beach). Please bring swimsuit, towel, sunscreen & a bag lunch. 

Hyland Park and Thrill Factory

Experience Get ready for a day full of thrills as we start the day at Hyland Park (also known as chutes and ladders). We will explore the park & climb the hexagonal climbers that end with slides up to 50 feet long! After we climb, swing and hang we will take a quick break for a picnic lunch before heading to the Big Thrill Factory. We will spend the afternoon playing in the kid's fun factory, competing in the time challenge, jumping on the outdoor trampolines & trying to climb up the giant spider climb before sliding down the giant slide. This day will be full of jumping, climbing & playing. Please bring a bag lunch.
Base Camp & the Fort @ Fort Snelling Park

Experience the Ultimate day of Adventure! We will start the day at Base Camp climbing the indoor wall molded from the bluffs at Taylor's Falls. Our adventure will then take us to Riverside Woods of Fort Snelling to explore the historic Fort as is takes us back into time to the 1800 military outpost. Bring a bag lunch. We will stop for a picnic & explore the park.

Coon Rapids Dam  & Regional Park & Zero Gravity
Friday, August 26  9:15am-3:30pm

Get ready to explore. Our first stop will be at the West Coon Rapids Dam Visitor Center which offers exceptional array of exhibits including a large aquarium containing river fish, turtles & other local reptiles. Next we will check out the nature exploration area on our way to the observation walkway located top of the dam. After a picnic lunch at the park we will head over to Zero Gravity Trampoline Park where we will bounce from trampoline to trampoline or off the walls. Yes, the walls are also trampolines. Please bring a bag lunch.
